Hi, my name is Monika Szabo-Helyes and I am a second-year undergraduate international business and management student at the University of Central Lancashire. This year I was selected to take part in the LaunchPad program which is a two years leadership masterclass of the university. As a member of this program, I take part in workshops, seminars, company visits and meet a large network of people to enhance my employability potential. My aim is to work in operations or project management after graduation.
Well, that was my current elevator pitch... Not telling much about who I really am.
A bit of personal addition: I am a 32 years old Hungarian national living in the UK for 6 years. The only daughter of my parents, wife, mother of a 9 years old boy and a 3 years old girl, mortgage and cat owner. I presume I will talk a lot about my background in the future post, so I cut off now.
What is more interesting at this point, that I am also the one who regularly drive my family insane with my new ideas. I guess they got used to it by now, but they still show a low level of enthusiasm for them. I asked myself a million times, what is this force that pulls me constantly towards the new things. The reflection from my self-analysis said that there is a strong drive in me. It is involuntary. I need change, constant development and I like to think about the next step forward. Very quietly I would say it might be entrepreneur mentality...
I would like to think that the circumstances were not suitable until now to engage in enterprise. Now the power balance between the push and pull side seems to be equal and it is my time to step on the stage. This blog was set up to follow my route in business entrepreneurship.
A few days ago I launched the Big Idea to the world.
Let's see how I approach to bring it to life!
